Thai ’08 Journal 14

I spent the entire morning again today at the farm. In addition to the regular farm team, Ken and Kim joined us for the day. It was corn-pickin’ time! And did we work! I realized lots of the pictures I “took” of individual team members picking and panoramic pictures of the field were never taken, so I hope to try taking those again tomorrow. In three hours we picked three pickup loads of corn. It was very hard work, but it felt very rewarding.

Tonight Ken did a great worship using the story of Moses and the rod as the basis of his presentation. He then gave a sheet of foil to each person and asked each of us to create a “rod” to illustrate what God can use in our life when we partnership with him. Then we had a birthday celebration for Lindsey Jackman. Earlier we went to Tesco Lotus and picked up some ice cream and a birthday cake. We had a fun time after a hard day of work. It’s now time for bed!
