Thai ’08 Journal 18

We did basically one thing today: We went to the beach! But it took us almost 5 hours to get there. It was worth it. I got to relax like a tourist; and the students enjoyed the water and walking around the island. Pattaya beach is not the greatest in the world. So we rented a boat for a little over $100.00 to take us to a nearby island. The cost included getting on a smaller glass-bottom boat and viewing corals and sea life. Fred and Kim stayed home to recoop; and Vie, Lorraine and Ken are gone. So today the average age of the group dropped significantly! I felt extra young! Tomorrow we begin the second week of working for others.
