What a WOW day today was (from 6:30am to 9:30pm)! We had our Sunday outing, just an hour from the University, at Khao Yai National Park. In all my years here I did not know that it existed. All the animals are in the wild. We saw monkeys, a variety of deer, waterfalls, and themost wonderful scenery. I took lots of photos and that will tell the story in part. The highlight of the day was the elephant rides. The team members are still on a high! When I post their photos you will get even more insights into the back-woods of the rides. Then we spent 2 hours waiting for the thousands of bats to come out of their caves and darken the evening sky. But they never came out. We ended the day with pizza. Tomorrow we begin the hard work!
