Thailand Mission and Cultural Trip 2014 - Journal 12

Not much to blog about today. It was a regular day of hard work. At the school the ladies had the seventh and ninth grades. On the farm we started weeding a new pepper field. We got a rhythm going and almost did half of it. We were helped by the sun being behind the clouds and a cool breeze blowing at times. There was always lots of cool water (which I freeze the night before), electrolyte drinks, and fruits with which Nang supplies us.
Susan and Rob got a massage after work. Tedi and I will get one tomorrow. A lady promised us Durian, and the team came over to my room to experience it. But she never showed up. We were all disappointed. And I was not even a good host to entertain them; because every night I use this little time to catch up on emails, University work, and Rotary stuff. Ah well!
