Thailand Mission and Cultural Trip 2014 - Journal 17
Last Sabbath we were asked if we would do the special feature
for Sabbath School this week. After thinking about it we said yes. Most of the
team was not excited about being up front. But they all did a great job talking
about their time in Thailand.
Earlier in the week we got a call asking if we would be
interested in joining the Adventist International Mission School (AIMS, the
Elementary school by the University) for an all-day Community Service Day with
their teachers, today. Of course that clashed with the SS program. But they said
we could come after our SS presentation. So we did, and Emil came with us. We
found out that it was an Intensive English Camp at the Ban Khoksa-ard school in
th and 6th grades.
AIMS had well organized and structured program; so our students didn’t do much.
But at the end of the day they presented us with gifts, certificates of
appreciation, and a big bouquet of roses. Susan also had many more gifts that
she brought, and she made a presentation to the Director. They were much appreciated.

Normally on the final Saturday evening President Loren Agrey
and his wife Shelley hosts us over their home for pizza and games. But they are
away during this break. I, however, continued the tradition, and purchase
pizza. The team members were slow into getting into playing
games. However, as
the evening wore on, some got into the game (on their phone), called “Head’s
up.”
