Thailand Journal 4– Aug. 28

This is the day to which many, over the years, have looked forward: We got to ride the elephants. Seven years now we have visited the

Jungle House. They have come to expect us. The day began with a trip through the Khao Yai National Park (rain forest). Such lush vegetation. We got up close with lots of monkeys, deer, and yes… LEECHES!!! The waterfalls were stunning. On the way back I taught the team and the Thai vendors the correct way to eat a

mango. Without my asking, the lady at the fruit stand brought me a
bucket of water to wash up afterwards. LOL. Since we found the chocolate factory 3 years ago, it continues to be a hit.
