Thailand Journal 5– Aug. 29

The mission aspect of the trip began today in earnest. The English Camp, with 7 of the team members was a smashing success on the

very first day. They were divided into 2 groups, and the classes will be rotated. By the end of next week each team will have had at least 2 sessions with all the classes, Grades 3 – 9. The interaction with the kids was amazing – in and out of the classroom. The little boys were even imitating Elton’s swag! At the farm we worked on preparing the poles for the dragon fruit. There was heavy rains last night; so the ground was quite muddy. Nang and Prasarn are such lovely people. They gave us a bunch of dragon fruit before we left. Six of the team members got a massage today. Only about $10:00 (US) for 1.5 hours of the most fantastic Thai massage! It was so good to see Rose Mary and Jenny (the owners). The day ended with a visit to the

Monday Night Market.
