Thai Journal ‘23 - #7

‘Twas a good day in Thailand. The highlight was getting a wheelchair for Uncle Prasarn. Nancy Irland lost her son about 20 years ago. A couple years before that an accident left him paralyzed and wheelchair bound. In his honor, she suggested we get a new chair to replace the old one Prasarn was using. We worked with our Pharmacist, Art, to get one that was just right for Prasarn. He loved it. The only problem was his left leg cannot rest on the foot rest. Tomorrow, the maintenance shop here at the university will attempt to make an adjustment to the chair.

The teachers had a great day at the school; and we farmers made lots of progress with the pepper field weeding, in so much that picking pepper by Auntie Nang was a world-of-a-difference easier. When we arrived this morning, she was in a lot of pain in both legs. But my wife, Vie, had sent a bottle of Real Time Pain Relief for her. In no time it had worked wonders, and she was back in the field!

In the late afternoon we visited the beautiful Chet Sao Noi Waterfalls, a couple miles from the Elementary School. It has been upgraded significantly since we visited in 2019. We ended the day eating dinner at the restaurant on another waterfall near the university.
