Asia Journal 11

The challenge with Singapore (and the blessing as well), is the varied cultural makeup, particularly the distinct and
strong Chinese, Malaysian, Indian, and Muslim. Today we visited and engaged in some of these religious spaces. First time in a mosque. The Anglican was all in English with the regular liturgy from the motherland. But the conversations with music educator and worship consultant, Chuan Chiou Yun, and Anne Soh (cross-cultural arts ministry practitioner) gave me encouragement that I’m on the right track. Thanks to Daphne, Lois Tan, and Anne who hosted me at various time during the day.
