 Celebrated the first of my birthdays (it’s already July 10 in Asia, tomorrow it will be the 10^th in America

and Jamaica) traveling to and in Hong Kong. Yat Hin and Cherly Choy were my hosts, and treated me to a lovely dinner at the famous Hot Pot. A highlight of the day was the conversation with one of the worship pastors at Cherly’s North Point Alliance Church (one of the largest in Hong Kong, with some 6000 worshippers weekly). Lots of interesting insights that will be important to my research. It is a good case study of the interplay between cultures (modern urban, Chinese and western, contemporary and traditional, etc.). Just before we left, bells went off in his head about a book he had since 2007! You guessed it: My book: Diverse Worship.
