Thai Journal ‘25- #4

The day began with an inspiring worship talk for the team by Stephani. Then off to the Public Elementary School where we were all introduced to all the students and faculty during the Assembly that began their day. The 7 team members who stayed were divided into 3 groups. The students loved them, and it was reciprocal. Thanks to Doug who took many photos to tell the story of the day. Check out my Flickr album to see some great shots; or check out his album to see even more. The other 7 of us headed to the farm. Our first task was to level out the fresh loads of special gravel for the driveway. While waiting for the second truckload we began the weeding of the large field of corn. The coconut water gave us extra strength to

deal with the heat and humidity! In the afternoon 7 of the team got massages at Jenny and Rose’s parlor. So, so good! As usual, I was running up and down doing errands, like getting more tools for the farm, and purchasing medical supplies for the team. The day ended eating at the university’s food court. This was an initiative by the students many years ago. The cooks are from the community.
