Thai ’08 Journal 19

It was English Camp day for me – but mostly observing and taking photos. There were only 5 students leading out today (3 from our group and 2 from Mission College); but they did a great job and the 7th and 8th graders were really into it. The day began with some Christian action songs and then the groups rotated through 5 stations doing a variety of games – some more active, some quite academic. In the afternoon the team assisted the English teachers in the classrooms.

Tonight we had the first health meeting in a nearby village. Bhima, Mark, Kristine, and Aaron made PowerPoint presentations. There were about 30 villagers in attendance. At the conclusion of the meeting we gave them some snacks and little gifts for the kids which Kyle Lafferty brought from WW. As they arrived we also gave them literature on various health issues.
