Thai ’09 Journal 10
Jon spent the day with the nurses. In the morning they did home visitations in the villages; and in the afternoon they focused on health education, especially for dengue fever. At the farm while some of us picked more fruit, the guys tore down an old shed. Tomorrow we will erect a new one. The team members were more prepared at the English Camp, and were very happy with the outcome and response of the students today. Tomorrow they have the 10th and 11th graders. So the communication will be more advanced. The outcome at the Language Center was similar to that of the High School. Positive! Since there were only a few adults last night, only Carol and Evelyn stayed. We will follow that pattern. The rest of the team will do the first hour with school children and the ladies will stay on for the second hour. There were more adults tonight, and they got more individualized attention.
