Thailand Mission and Cultural Trip 2015 - Journal 7

Today’s devotional was led out by Emmanuel Perry. He is entering as a Freshman Biology major at WWU this Fall. It was a good Word from the experience of Job.
The report from the English Camp was good. They had the 6th graders for 2 hours. So they were able to spend quality and productive time with them. When the farm team members come to the school for lunch, we also take time to interact with both teachers and students – great relationship building.
Yesterday we purchased some hoes and other digging equipment for the farm. These made our work
easier as we were able to quickly finish planting the Dragon Fruit plants (600 of them), and begin weeding between the corn, pumpkin and other vegetables.
This afternoon was free time. Most of the team wandered around the campus, and Fred had a massage at the Health Center. Tomorrow the bulk of the team will get their massages.
Tonight we went to the largest Night Market of the week. The Tuesday Night Market takes up about 4 blocks of the city street. It was not as crowded as it normally is in past years. But it was fun capturing a bunch of photos, especially of the various foods.
