After worship with Emily, the seven nurses on the team joined
the
AIU Faculty and students of Nursing for a full day of giving shots, treating
lice, and other blood work. Poor little kids were not happy! But our team members
had a great time.

That left only 5 of us to do English teaching at the school and
work on the farm. They needed at least 3 at the school because we were going to
teach 2 classes at the same time. Emmanuel and Kalene began with the 4
th
graders. But when Sarah saw that her Kindergarten class had 50 students she sent
for Kalene’s help.
We faced a challenge on the farm as well. Just Gwen and I were
left to weed a field of peppers. But I was not feeling too well. Seemed that I picked
up a little bug. So I rested while Gwen slaved away!
As is many times our Friday afternoon practice, we ran up to
Tesco Lotus, and then had dinner at the Blue restaurant. Tonight’s Vespers was a
beautiful slide show and program on endangered species of animals in Thailand.
