Thailand Mission and Cultural Trip 2015 - Journal 10

After worship with Emily, the seven nurses on the team joined the
AIU Faculty and students of Nursing for a full day of giving shots, treating lice, and other blood work. Poor little kids were not happy! But our team members had a great time.
That left only 5 of us to do English teaching at the school and work on the farm. They needed at least 3 at the school because we were going to teach 2 classes at the same time. Emmanuel and Kalene began with the 4th graders. But when Sarah saw that her Kindergarten class had 50 students she sent for Kalene’s help.
We faced a challenge on the farm as well. Just Gwen and I were left to weed a field of peppers. But I was not feeling too well. Seemed that I picked up a little bug. So I rested while Gwen slaved away!
As is many times our Friday afternoon practice, we ran up to Tesco Lotus, and then had dinner at the Blue restaurant. Tonight’s Vespers was a beautiful slide show and program on endangered species of animals in Thailand.
