Thailand Journal 20 – Sept. 13
I’m 27,000 feet in the air crossing the Pacific on a 15-hour
flight back to the USA. The entire journey since I left the University on
Monday night, until I arrive home a little after midnight on Wednesday morning
will be about 36 hours. The long hours of traveling are minor to the breadth of
blessings we received, and gave during these almost three weeks. This year was
one of those exceptional years. I love all the teams that have joined me on
this Thailand adventure these almost 15 years. But there was a unity in purpose
and mission that puts this group with those in the top percentile of my many
mission trips. They went beyond the call of duty to reach out and touch and
minister; to make long-lasting friendships; to truly demonstrate what true
Christian mission is all about. They exemplified the wholistic ministry of Jesus
as portrayed in the Gospels. And we had fun! Thanks guys! Remember you can view
all the photos of the trip at this site: https://www.flickr.com/photos/143715478@N06/albums/72157672986581966.
