Thai Journal ‘23 - #11

Sabbaths are so very special at the Lakeside campus of Bamboo School. The gorgeous stetting is heavenly, and the worship with the kids, so wonderfully precious! As always, it is a privilege and pleasure to give a word from the Lord. This year, it was based on the Good Samaritan story. My translator (an alumnus of the school who now teaches English at another school) was one of the best translators I have had over the years. Thanks to Erik who operated my camera, we were able to capture Pedrito-clone (or Pedrito 2.0) in motion!

Just a note about the special building material that they have created: They are called “eco-bricks.”  They fill empty plastic bottles with recyclable waste, and use them as building blocks. I’ve included a QR code to show how it is done. They have been honored and recognized by many organizations and service clubs for this, and their overall ecological leadership and philosophy.

We are back in Muak Lek safely. We will get some rest, and head to Bangkok in the morning for some cultural adventures and shopping at the night market.
