Thai Journal ‘24 - #7
Another day started off well with a devotional thought and prayer by team member, Angie Perez (mother
of Keziah and Aizza). At the farm we tackled the corn field under the watchful eye of the White Buddha and ate more goodies (vegetable tempura and fruits). Uncle Prasarn was out of bed sharpening the tools for us; and Aunt Nang got more massages. Prasarn showed Keziah how well healed was his bedsore that she took care of on a previous trip. At the elementary school they had a rollicking good time with the kids. Last night I realized that this is our 10th year teaching English at this elementary school. From 2008 t0 2013 we had conducted the English Camp at the Muak Lek High School. In the afternoon most of the team took a stroll through the town. And as always, they made new friends. This time it was at Overjoy Café. They recognized that they were fulfilling the mission of the trip in doing friendship evangelism. We ended the day at the Namtok Kitchen. It rained for the first time; and the team played a bit in it!
