Thai Journal ‘24 - #2

 

We got to the university at 2:00am; got to bed at 3:00. I got a good 3 hours of sleep. That’s the way to defeat the jet-lag dragon – plus keeping active ALL day. And we did. Some of us spent the morning touching bases with our merchant friends, getting our phones setup with Thai sim-cards, and getting chicken and dog food for the farm. After lunch and orientation, we head for the highway fruit stand (where I saw naseberry for the first time outside of Jamaica), and the Lotus shopping center where we had our annual Pizza Company dinner. Ended the day with Vespers. Ready to crash now!
