Thai Journal ‘23 - #14
I’m home in Walla Walla; and ready to hit the ground running tomorrow with a day of meetings. But I will still be on a high from the blessings we received, as well as those we gave on this 20th anniversary of the Walla Walla University’s “Thailand Mission Outreach and Cultural Trip.” To God be the glory!
For the journey home, Deanna and Julie took a little vacation trip to Chiang Mai, and the rest of us heading directly home. I forgot to mention that Keziah is staying on at Bamboo School for two extra weeks to help Momo Cat. She was greatly missed from the team. But what she is doing at Bamboo is immense. The journey home had its challenges: When we were transferring in Korea for the flight home we discovered that a mistake was made with Mitchel’s ticket. Instead of her leaving on Tuesday, she was ticketed for Wednesday. Our flight was totally full; there were no rooms available in the hotel in the airport (which she could not leave since she didn’t have a visa); and thus, she had to spend a whole extra day in the public lounge. She is very positive, and called the experience, lemonade. My luggage reached as far as customs in Seattle; yet when I landed in Pasco it was not there! Ah well! Maybe there is some lemonade in this as well.
Well, God has been good to us these past three weeks. We have definitely seen his hands at work, mightily. Thanks for your prayers and support in so many ways. Keep doing so!
