Thai ’09 Journal 11
Last year there was so much fruit and corn to reap on the farm that that was all we did for 2 weeks. This year is different. Today we stacked wood in a hole to burn to make charcoal. We chopped down trees for lumber to rebuild the shed. And we dug holes for the main support poles. The use of water in a tube as a level was fascinating. At the Public High School the team had great sessions with the 10th and 11th graders. We are still amazed how young they look even though they are between 16 and 17 years old.
Today the Church Pastor, Ryan Ashlock returned from the Philippines, and stopped by the Language Center this evening. He teaches Evangelism in the Faculty of Religion. So we began to lay plans for a joint evangelistic project between Walla Walla School of Theology and their Faculty of Religious Studies. We are both excited at the possibilities.
