Team after church

Every year we are here it seems as if church service starts at a different time, I told the team that I think church would start at 10:30; but it actually started at 10:00, and a couple of our group  arrived at 11:00am. It was Communion today. And Service finished at noon. We stayed for potluck and left for the farm for Branch Sabbath School soon after. As you can see from the pictures, they were so happy to see us return. Also they were so delighted to get the dog food that Lorraine had sent. Can’t wait for Monday to come to start weeding corn and doing whatever they want us to do. Dr. Wayne

Aunt Nang

told us that because of our work last year, they had one of the best crops of corn, and were able to pay off all of their debts (except the one to the bank). The next project that we would like to be involved in is providing electricity to the home. The folks from the University and Branch Sabbath School are suggesting that solar panels be installed. I’ll let you know how those plans will work out, and may ask you to contribute.

We then made our annual “pilgrimage” to the White Buddha, and saw parts of the monastery that I had never seen. We ended the evening at one of our favorite eating spots: The Blue Restaurant.
