Thailand Journal 9 – Sept. 2

We
have been here for a week! The team is one of the best! We continued on the farm
constructing the dragon fruit poles, and improvising to make the tops. Fun! The
teachers at the school continued to have a great time showing love and getting
a whole lot in return. On Monday the whole team will be with the school on a
planting-trees outing. They will be using slingshots to plant the seeds. Today
the students were putting the seeds into little clay balls. Looking forward to
an exciting adventure on Monday. This afternoon Devyn and Libby joined the
nursing community students in de-licing students in one of the nearby public
schools. When Fred is with us and there is a significant number of WWU nursing
students, we team up with the AIU School of Nursing on a Community Health
project for two weeks. In the afternoon the rest of us made our weekly shopping
trip to Tesco Lotus, and then to the fancy and expensive Premium Outlet Mall,
where things are even more expensive than in the States. Dinner was at the Blue
Restaurant. Ended the day at Vespers. PS. Note that “Brownie” the dog always
worships with us; and the van got its bath in preparation for the Sabbath!
