Thanks to Jonathan for the devotional on how God led him to come to WWU. For the next 3 days, the teaching team will only have the 3
rd
grade class. Wow! They are HIGH-ENERGY! But the team kept up! The 4
th
to 9
th grades were at a Health Fair. The 3
rd-graders are
barely beginning to learn English. The teachers are doing more friendship
building than anything else technical. Lots of playing in, and braiding of hair;
and donkey rides from the guys. Just a lot of loving and having fun in a
learning-English context. On the farm, we got a tractor! YEAH! Good thing we
did. The truck
got stuck

twice and was
pushed out by the tractor. As you can see, I found a few callaloo plants on the
farm. Auntie Nang and her sister has been making banana chips for us, and
sharing with us fresh ripe bananas, guava, dragon fruit, and young coconut.
While some rested in the late afternoon, some of us went on an exploration
adventure into Muak Lek. Had one of the most delicious Thai tea anywhere; and
ended the day at a lovely outdoor restaurant. Some very interesting pics among
the 174 we took today with my cameras:
