Thailand Journal 13 – Sept. 6

My day started at 2:00am when I joined a Search Committee at WWU via telephone. It was worth breaking my sleep for it. Jonathan did the devotional before we left for our projects. Good stuff! On the farm, we weeded more peppers and got more goodies from the farmers. The photos will tell the

story of the penultimate day at the elementary school. Fun! More massages in the afternoon. Everyone had one except JoLene, who was burnt so badly at the beach that she gave me her spot today. The highlight of the day was the birthday party for Somporn, Jasmine, and Jacqueline. We had a blast! Thanks to Wii and Somporn for bringing the entrée (pad see ew), Thai tea, and

Jasmine tea. And, for the Nursing Faculty for sending freshly made waffles. But the highlight was the durian tasting event! Thanks again to the Nursing Faculty for providing this annual treat.
