Thailand Journal 8 – Sept. 1

We have been here for a week! The team is one of the best! Jasmine gave a wonderful worship talk to begin the day. Grades 4 to 9 were still at Buddhist camp. The teaching crew made it through the

morning with the very energetic third graders. On the farm, we spent the morning removing weeds from a chili pepper field. Much easier work than building the road! In the afternoon, made the trek to Tesco Lotus, and then to the fancy, upscale outlet mall, where the team was in heaven at Starbucks. Dinner at the Blue Restaurant. $30 to feed 12 of us – 15 dishes! Began the Sabbath with Vespers at the University, where Ebenezer Belete gave a memorable message.
