Thailand Journal 3– Aug. 23, 2018

Final day of the Chiangmai leg of the trip. Past President Rotarian Jarrwat, took me to a famous organic restaurant for lunch before heading to the hills to visit the Thepsadeth school – a community nestled in the gorgeous mountains, an hour outside of Chiangmai. We were part of a major grant that built a library and computer center, and provided books and computers. The consortium also built the bathroom. The school has done a great job with the facilities and equipment; though the weather is challenging to the building, structurally. At the airport, the President of the club and her husband came to give me a warm Rotary send-off. She sent a gorgeous rotary butterfly broach for Vie.
