Thailand Journal 16 – Sept. 9
We slept in comfortable cabins in Khao Yai National Park, and got
up at 6:30 for the adventure of finding more wildlife. However, the fog was
thick and the animals were scarce – though we saw lots of evidence that
elephants were roaming last night. We drove to the largest waterfall in the
park (Haew Narok Waterfall). The climb down was at times steeper than that for
the White Buddha. We rushed back to catch the closing song for church. My “daughter,”
Supaporn, who I baptized in Chiang Mai in 2005, came up from Bangkok to see me.
We were so happy to see each other. Please pray for
her nephew who is being
treated for leukemia. In the afternoon, we
