Thai Journal ‘24 - #19

 A day filled with emotional goodbyes. First to the farm. Emotional. Some special coconut water. Topped off with a fervent prayer by Uncle Prasarn. Then goodbyes to our pharmacist, and Sop, the owner of the

hardware store. I visited for the first time the much talked about Overjoyed café. Busy afternoon packing and making final arrangements to get a lift for Prasarn and a sturdier wheelchair. I needed an extra suitcase. But none to be found in Muak Lek. Ah! The Night Market to the rescue. Found only one. Minnie Mouse! The team got checked in at 11:30pm for the flight home. But Deanne and my flights are at 8:00am. Check in is at 5:30am. I was going to spend the night in the crowded check-in area; but Deanna found this Prime Sleep place just across the road. Perfect. I mostly likely will not sleep, so as not to miss my flight.
