Thai Journal ‘24 - #14

Deanna is here! She arrived on campus about 1:00am this morning. We are all so delighted! And she hit the ground running with no signs of jetlag! After another inspiring worship talk by Alyssa of God’s leading in her life, we were off to the farm and the school. At the farm we completed fertilizing the enter cornfield in the morning. We, including the teaching team, came back in the afternoon to do quite a bit of weeding the cornfield. There was a super heavy downpour of rain last night; so, we worked in some deep mud! Oh, Uncle Prasarn cannot forget the 2011 team. He loves showing everyone the framed photos that my wife, Violet, sent for him some years ago. Something new at the school: As I mentioned in an earlier journal, ShelleyB suggested

that we sow seeds in the vegetable garden. During the lunch hour, we and some students and teachers had fun planting a large variety of vegetable seeds. Keziah and Alyssa needed to say goodbye to Jenny and Rose; so, we stopped by the massage parlor. A big highlight of my day was having my Thai daughter, Supaporn, come up from Bangkok to see me and eat with us at Krua Berk Barn restaurant near the campus. We met Supaporn at Chiang Mai Academy in 2005 on our mission trip there. We assisted her all the way through high school and college. Now she is a very successful businesswoman in Bangkok. We are so proud of her.
