Asia Journal ’26 - #4:

 

Today was the outing to see the Golden Temple in Amritsar. If you don’t know about it, Google it. My Flickr album will also be helpful. It was simply awesome. There was a line of people waiting to go into the most holy of places in this pre-eminent spiritual site of Sikhism. The line was so long that we reckon it would take a person 10 hours to get to the most holy spot. We also toured the spot where the British massacred hundreds of Sikhs in cold blood. I experienced classic Indian city driving in a Tuk-tuk. I loved it. Tonight I preached for Vespers.
