Thai Journal ‘26 - #11
The day and workweek started with the devotional by Savannah. Then off to the school where both teachers and students experienced and enjoyed creative activities. But the highlight of the day was at the farm. When we arrived almost 10 days ago, we found that Auntie Nang’s roof was leaking right over her bed, and the back door was broken. We offered to replace both. As always, working with the university, we purchased a new roof and door, and they were installed yesterday while we were at the beach. Everyone was overjoyed this morning at the transformation! Yet we found time and energy to fertilize the large field of corn. Last night the rain poured in such a way that made it just right to fertilize. In the afternoon while some did the manicure thing, others made the rounds around town and gave out t-shirts to some of our business folks/friends. The day ended at the fabulous Namtok Kitchen restaurant by the river and waterfalls.
