Thai Journal ‘26 - #6
Wednesday started off well with an inspiring devotional by Melody Fisher, who is the president of the Theology Club at WWU. At the elementary school quite a few students were away on field trips. For those left behind much time was spent on games and making more intimate connections. On the way to the farm, we stopped at the fruit stands and loaded up with great tropical fruits. At the farm we finished weeding the chili pepper field. Auntie Nang got a great massage with the dogs providing support. In the afternoon we went into town shopping and visiting with our special merchant friends like the pharmacist, the grocery owner, Sop the hardware store owner, and
her sister’s
store where we went shopping for school supplies for the elementary school. We
then went to Overjoy Café and hung out, while some of us purchased seeds to
plant next week at the elementary school. We ended the day eating at the food
court and playing volleyball with the university students..jpg)
