Asia Journal ’26 - #16
Began the day with the full force of monsoon rain and a most enlightening interview with Philip Sarkar the director of “Sacrifice Inter Church Trust” (and his wife Aporha). This almost 2-hour conversation is most helpful in answering the main questions I have regarding indigenous worship in Bangladesh. After the interview I experienced a dream fulfilled: I rode in a
rickshaw. Again, traffic here is the ultimate experience! The afternoon interview with Canadian Jahred Warkentin also gave some new perspectives. This is the first time I have interviewed a person from the Salvation Army community. The day ended a naseberry and huge mango made “white.”.jpg)
