
Mariela arrived after midnight, enduring three days of
travel! We all began the day with church. They gave us a warm welcome both at
Vespers last evening, and at the Church Service today. It was joint worship for
both Thai and English speaking congregations. After lunch we were on our way to
the farm. Lots of changes. The new super speed Chinese train lines that is
being build necessitated them taking out the road that our team build last year.
As always Nang was
in tears when we met. She would not let go! They were so
glad to


see us; and they were so happy to receive the dog food and chicken feed
that Kalene Dittman and Lorraine Jacobs always donate. I spoke for the Branch
Sabbath School, as always. We toured the farm, and then climbed the White
Buddha. At 5:14pm, we were only a stone’s throw from the van when out of
nowhere came a super heavy tropical rainstorm. Most of us got soaked. In our
wetness we heading for our first meal at the blue restaurant. Only $17.00 to
feed us all!! Such good food to end a great day. All the photos can be seen at
