Thailand Journal 18 – Sept. 9, 2019

Today was a free day before departure tomorrow morning. But I’ve been running like a chicken without a head all day. The high point of the day, of course, was saying goodbye to Uncle Prasarn, Nang, and Prakong. It was emotional – joyful with tears. The goodbyes with the dogs were also emotional. Kalene and Lorraine, they thank you for the dog food and said how much they miss you and want you to return. We also got feed for the egg-laying chickens. Auntie
Nang asked me to tell Vie that her Real Time Pain Relief works well. Uncle Prasarn made 6 hammocks for the farm team. Deanna and Mackenzie got a mani and pedi in the afternoon. They are new people! We ended the day with dinner at the Blue Restaurant, and saying goodbye to Tom and his staff. When our team saw the need at Bamboo School, they decided to not haul a lot of their things back to America. I have a pile of very useful clothes and other miscellaneous things to send with Emil this weekend. We leave at 4:00am to catch our 9:50 am flight to Korea and on to the States.
