Thai ’09 Journal 20

Ginger, we had mango and sticky rice (both black and white rice) for you today! Leona Gouge invited the whole team for supper - haystacks, and that special dessert. Great way to end the day! We all were on the farm and completed over 50 rows of weeding a thicket of uninvited guests. Part of the team reaped custard apples (sweet sop). We also bought all 5 hammocks that the farmer had recently made (approximately 3 dollars for each!). This afternoon some of us took up the invitation by the students from APIU (who assisted us on our projects) to join them at a waterfall and swimming pond. A major filming production was taking place there as well. Tomorrow we are in charge of Sabbath School; so Miriama and the gang are preparing.
