Thailand Journal 12 – Sept. 1, 2018

 

This is the 11^th year that we have joined with the School of Nursing and Mission Hospital for a Sabbath day of Community Nursing and Wellness in a select village near AIU. The organizers have deliberately put it on a day when our team can participate. As always our team worked alongside the doctors, nurses, pharmacists, opticians, etc., in delivering health care. The turnout was beyond our expectations. We left at noon for the 5-hour drive to catch the last ferry to Koh Samed island. We had dinner on the beach and celebrated Sandy’s birthday. It is always good to have Somporn, Wii, and Winston with us on this adventure.
