Holly led us in a challenging devotional to begin the day. At the elementary school, the WWU team was introduced to the entire student body and staff. It was a warm welcome (including from the snake that slithered in front of us! On the farm we continued weeding and planting peppers. Most of them drank and ate fresh jelly coconut for the first time. Aunt Nang also made (what we call in Jamaica) “blue draws.” Delicious! In the afternoon Deanna and I got our massages. I got the full-body 1.5 hours oil massage. The cost was less than $20.00 (including tip)! My masseuse got down into, and unknotted some muscles that I didn’t know existed, and in places that I didn’t know could have knotted muscles (like my toes)! We ended the day at the famous big Tuesday Night market, followed by dinner at the University’s outdoor food court.
