Thailand Journal 6 – Aug. 31, 2022
A day without rain! Thanks Rachel for the devotional thought and prayer. The team at the elementary
school are having such a rich time with the kids. The 2-way love fest is heart-stopping! And they are having so much fun. On the farm, we continued weeding and planting the pepper plot. Something new this year: Holly brought her portable speaker. She is our resident DJ on the farm. Today the play set was from musicals. We had more coconut (with some of the team members trying their hands at using a machete to cut the coconut open! Nang brought more food – fried ripe bananas. Delicious! More massages in the afternoon, and quick shopping jaunt into town. My day ended with
getting to see my Thai daughter, Supaporn. Some of you will remember that I met her at Chiang Mai Adventist Academy during our 2005 mission trip there. I baptized her and helped sponsoring her through high school and college. Now she runs her own business in Bangkok. I’m so proud of her.
