Thailand Journal 9 – Sept. 3, 2022

 

Today we made the 4.5 hours drive to the pier to take the speed boat to Koh Samet Island. The sea was calmer than last year so the journey was more palatable for Deanna an me. The team of 18 is a big one, including two translators (Nun and Patty) and the two van drivers. Tom’s Pizza Resort is a nice little spot right on beach. The team loved the water. Sadly, it was not the best day for me. I picked up a stomach bug yesterday; and that affected my entire day. But I’m feeling much better; and tomorrow is another day.
