Thailand Journal 11 – Sept. 5, 2022
The team member assigned to do the devotional did not turn up on time, so a volunteer read a happy verse
of scripture and had us sing a fitting song to match. Holly switched from farm to school, and Alyssa had her first day at English camp. Deanna switched from school to farm. Keziah and Deanna made a gallon bag of dressing for Uncle Prasarn. We could not find premade ones like what they got from the hospital. So, we created our own. We found out that Prasarn love to watch the news and to keep up with national and world events. But the little TV he had went bad. We got him a new one and AIU facility/plant services installed it for them on Friday. Today the farm work was easy: just filling plastic
containers with dirt to plant tiny pepper suckers for sale. But even that was took much exertion for me. I went to see the school nurse this afternoon and she gave me some charcoal tablets and another anti-diarrhea power. Hopefully those will do the trick by tomorrow. There were more massages this afternoon, and this evening we have the annual durian tasting party at my room. Nobody was super offended by the taste or smell!
