Thailand Journal 14 – Sept. 8, 2022

 

The day began with Willy’s wonderful devotional thoughts and prayer. Everyone was on the farm today and we were so excited to finish so much weeding and planting the rest of the pepper field. Then off to Bamboo School. The heavy rains, flooded highways and super heavy traffic going into Bangkok made the 4-hour trip into a 6-hour+ trip. That meant that we missed eating at our favorite restaurant in Kanchanaburi, whenever we go to the Tiger Temple or Bamboo School. We arrived at 7:30pm! And, were the kids excited to see us!  It was surreal. I wish I had my camera set up ahead of time to capture the initial moments. It is always great to hear Momo Cat tell the miraculous stories! Our team joined in a Karen dance/game and now we are off to our sleeping quarters. I’m so fortunate to have a lovely cabin at the top of the property. We have a full day tomorrow. So let me sign off.
