Thailand Journal 15 – Sept. 9, 2022
It is late Friday night and there was so much happening today that I don’t have time to write it all. And tomorrow we have to get up early to deliver food to the refuge camp. I’ve uploaded 277 photos on my Flickr site and 80 on Facebook. Those will tell only part the story. Summary: Part of the team trained the ambulance kids into some basic first aid. The rest of the team went to the lakeside property to help build a tree from bottles filled with recycled plastics. There are so many tropical fruits that you think you are in Jamaica! In the afternoon we were able to visit some refugees from Myanmar in no-man’s land. Great vespers where we had communion; but washing hands instead of feet. The team is so moved and impressed with this ministry that they raised over $500.00
this afternoon to give to the school. Momo Cat was down to the last few Thai baht (Thai money). Our 2 translators and drivers also went shopping for basic food supplies for the refugees. Holly and the team made little bracelets for the kids. Oh, there is so much more to tell…
