Thailand Journal 16 – Sept. 10, 2022

 

I’m tired! But what a wonderful day. Like last time we had church by the lakeside property. But this time the military brought breakfast and lunch and a whole lot of snacks. And they stayed for the

services. I preached on Luke 15; but of course, not the traditional interpretation that misrepresents the context of the first 2 verses! I needed two translators: Thai for the soldiers, and Karen for the kids. While the kids were having Sabbath School we went and delivered the food and medicine to the refuge families. What a joy. Momo Cat and Bamboo School gave us an ice cream send-off. On the way back, we stopped at the place we hoped to have stopped at on Thursday, especially to pick up Kalene Dittman’s appreciation gift! Home safely by 7:30pm and ready to leave for Bangkok at 8:00am tomorrow.
